2019年10月11日上午,加拿大維多利亞大學Yang Shi教授與美國加州大學河濱分校任偉教授應邀在将軍路校區伟德 官网1号樓403會議室分别做了題為“Event-Triggered Model Predictive Control for nonlinear Dynamic Systems”與“Distributed Average Tracking and Continuous-time Optimization in Multi-agent Networks”的學術報告。報告由南京航空航天大學副院長陳謀教授主持,伟德 官网部分師生參加了學術報告會。
Shi教授首先對網絡化控制系統的當前研究方向做了簡要介紹,重點指出了網絡化控制系統的研究難點。接着,Shi教授引入了模型預測控制的基本思想,并通過對系統性能與期望參數之間關系的分析,來描述了将模型預測控制的思想運用至網絡化控制系統的方法。然後,Shi教授介紹了基于事件觸發的模型預測控制,提出了他在該研究方向的一些思路和方法,他以水下無人機編隊協同為例,展示了他們團隊在分布式模型預測控制方面的最新研究成果。最後,Shi教授對模型預測控制在分布式算法上的優化等研究方向提出了展望。
随後,任教授向在場師生分享了他在多智能體網絡方面的最新研究成果。他首先以多智能體編隊為背景,介紹了分布式平均跟蹤問題的研究意義。接着,他提出了利用非光滑分析工具進行分布式平均跟蹤控制器設計的思想,并将其應用至一階系統。然後,任教授詳細講解了基于分布式平均跟蹤思想解決多智能體系統連續時間的分布式凸優化問題,并利用非光滑分析理論工具證明系統的穩定性。最後,通過仿真驗證展示了該方法的有效性。
報告結束後,Shi教授和任教授與參會師生針對報告内容進行了熱烈的讨論,并對師生們提出的問題給予了詳細的解答。
Yang Shi教授簡介:
Yang Shi received the Ph.D degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2005. From 2005 to 2009, he was an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 2009, he joined the University of Victoria, and now he is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. His current research interests include networked and distributed systems, model predictive control (MPC), cyber-physical systems (CPS), robotics and mechatronics, navigation and control of autonomous systems (AUV and UAV), and energy system applications.
Dr. Shi received the University of Saskatchewan Student Union Teaching Excellence Award in 2007. At the University of Victoria, he received the Faculty of Engineering Teaching Excellence in 2012, and the Craigdarroch Silver Medal for Excellence in Research in 2015. He received the JSPS Invitation Fellowship (short-term), and was a Visiting Professor at the University of Tokyo during Nov-Dec 2013. His co-authored paper was awarded the 2017 IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems Outstanding Paper Award. He received the Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experience Researchers in 2018. He is a member of the IEEE IES Administrative Committee, and the Chair of IEEE IES Technical Committee on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems. Currently, he is Co-Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics; he also serves as Associate Editor for Automatic, IEEE Trans. Control System Technology, IEEE/ASME Trans. Mechatrnonics, IEEE Trans. Cybernetics. He is a Fellow of EIC (Engineering Institute of Canada), IEEE, ASME and CSME, and a registered Professional Engineering in British Columbia, Canada.
任偉教授簡介:
任偉,美國加州大學河濱分校(University of California, Riverside)教授,IEEE Fellow。2004年在美國楊百翰大學(Brigham Young University)獲得博士學位。他的主要研究方向是多智能體系統的分布式協調控制,在Springer出版了兩本專著。任偉教授于2017年獲得IEEE 控制系統協會Antonio Ruberti Young Researcher Prize,于2008年獲得美國國家科學基金會傑出青年教授/傑出學術發展獎。
