應伟德 官网邢岩教授邀請,美國工程院院士、德州大學達拉斯分校(University of Texas at Dallas)Kaushik Rajashekara教授于6月27日訪問我校,并在智能樓四樓報告廳作了題為“Power Electronics and Power Systems for More Electric Aircraft”的學術報告。報告會由邢岩教授主持,電氣工程系教師和研究生參加了報告會。
報告會上,Raja教授首先向大家詳細介紹了多電飛機的發展趨勢及其供電系統架構,以空客A380和波音787客機為例,介紹了大型多電飛機的電力系統、驅動系統,并就多電飛機的能效優化策略、配電系統、功率變換以及電機驅動等進行了深入講解。電氣系師生在報告會上與Raja教授就多電飛機相關的問題進行了熱烈的讨論,Raja教授的精彩報告給廣大師生留下了深刻印象。
Kaushik Rajashekara教授簡介:
Rajashekara教授,美國工程院院士,IEEE Fellow。
Rajashekara教授長期從事電力電子系統、電機驅動、能量管理及其在交通運輸工具等系統,特别是多電飛機、電動汽車、混合動力汽車及燃料電池汽車系統中的研究,擁有28項美國專利,發表論文100餘篇。Rajashekara教授在2012年以其在交通運輸電力變換系統中的傑出貢獻而被評為美國工程院院士;2013年被授予IEEE理查德・哈羅德・考夫曼獎;2009年被IEEE 工業應用協會授予傑出成就獎;1999年以其在電動汽車、混合動力汽車和燃料電池汽車系統方面的貢獻而被評為IEEE Fellow。
1989年至2006年任美國德爾福(通用電機)公司首席科學家;2006年至2012年任美國羅爾斯-羅伊斯公司首席科學家;2012年至今執教于德克薩斯大學達拉斯分校,特聘教授。
Brief Biography of Kaushik Rajashekara:
Dr. Kaushik Rajashekara is a Distinguished Professor and Endowed Chair in Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas (2012-). Prior to joining UT Dallas, he was Chief Technologist for electric systems in and was a Rolls-Royce Corporation. His expertise is in the area of power electronics and control systems. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences, and has 30 patents on power electronics & drives, electric/hybrid vehicle propulsion, fuel cell power conversion systems, and more electric aircraft. He was elected as Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE) for contributions to electric power conversion systems in transportation (2012) and as Foreign Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (2012). He is the recipient of the IEEE Richard Harold Kaufmann award (2013) for outstanding contributions to the advancement of electrical systems in transportation; IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Outstanding Achievement Award for outstanding contribution for the application of electricity to industry (2009), and IEEE IAS Gerald Kliman award (2006) for contributions to the advancement of power conversion technologies through innovations and their applications to industry. He is a Fellow of IEEE (1999) and a Fellow of SAE International (2006) for contributions to the advancement of power conversion and propulsion systems.
