報告摘要：
Transcriptome sequencing in a cell provides the ability to look at alternative gene spliced transcripts, post-transcriptional modifications, gene fusion, and changes in gene expression. It can also look at different populations of RNA to include total RNA, lincRNA, circRNA and some other small RNA. This report will give more advanced ongoing RNA-Seq research in overseas.
報告人簡介：
Prof. Xiaofeng Song currently focuses on employing statistical and computational algorithms to elucidate molecular mechanism of human complex disease. In recent years he has obtained several research grants from NSFC, MOE, Jiangsu province. The current achievements in his group have been published in several distinguished journals, such as Nucleic Acids Research, Journal of Theoretical Biology, Journal of Medical Virology, BioSystems, and others.
